: Damien has been a teacher for over the last 20 years and when he was 18 he moved to Sydney from Nowra to attend Uni and played colts for UNSW. Damien began playing for Southern Districts in 1999 and made his way through the grades. Damien counts his career highlights as playing against Wallabies such as Campese and Ofahegaue, Captaining 2nd and 3rd grades, playing semi- finals and despite injuries playing over 100 grade games for Southern Districts. After an injury enforced retirement, Damien started coaching a few years down the track and eventually moved to the Illawarra’s northern suburbs and took on the role of First Grade Coach for the Shamrocks and continues sharing his vast rugby experiences with the Club.
